Conn's HomePlus now closing all stores: See the full list of locations

 Conn's HomePlus, a southern home goods retailer with locations in more than 10 states, has announced the closure of all its stores after an initial round of closures was released last week.

Conn's is shutting down all of its more than 170 stores across 15 southern states which employ more than 4,000 people, according to the company's website. Headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, the company announced the closures last week after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Southern District of Texas.

Locations will shutter across all 15 states Conn's operates in, including more than 70 stores in Texas, 20 in Florida, 12 in North Carolina and 11 in Louisiana.

In December 2023, the company acquired fellow home goods retailer W.S. Badcock, which operated Badcock Home Furniture & More locations across the Southeast. This bumped the number of stores owned by the new company to 550 locations between the two brands.

However, the retailer reported a net loss of nearly $77 million for 2023 and a 7.8% decrease in venue year over year in its fourth-quarter earnings call in April. Badcock also announced it is closing an additional 35 stores on top of the shuttered Conn's locations.

Conn's did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for comment.
